Port25 adds to distinguished list of Email Service Providers

Provider of online marketing solutions expands capabilities and improves reliability with implementation of industry-leading email delivery and management platform

Ellicott City , MD, December 1, 2008 -- Port25 Solutions, Inc. recently announced that Vidi Emi, a leader in emarketing technology, has implemented its leading PowerMTA email delivery software.

This implementation allows Vidi Emi to enhance and expand its offerings to clients in the areas of scalability, reliability and authentication.

Vidi Emi, based in San Leandro, CA, made the switch to PowerMTA after using an internal product since its founding in 2001. After a thorough evaluation of the product, Vidi Emi felt that the enhanced deliverability, configuration and throughput, with outstanding support of the product were the determining factors that lead to a license agreement.

“We were impressed with the features that PowerMTA offers,” said Reza Sirafinejad, Director of Operations at Vidi Emi. “Vidi Emi required a mature product that can be easily integrated with our existing technology. As an E-level service provider, we wanted to work with a company which demonstrated a commitment to security, reputation and throughput.”

In addition to the better throughput, PowerMTA will also allow Vidi Emi to segment different types of messaging with dedicated IPs for each type of message, such as, (transactional, marketing based, and/or informative) and improve deliverability through use of PowerMTA’s VirtualMTA functionality.

Additionally, Port25 will soon announce further expanded features of its PowerMTA product expected to be released in the first quarter of 2009. Current noteworthy features of PowerMTA include new IP Warm-up, advanced queue control, and CSV-based formatting with the ability to create disparate successful delivery and bounce files along with improved rotation management (e.g. via time and/or size paramenters with the ability to automatically move files to a specified location).
