Port25 Enhances Automated Authentication Checker; Adds Web-Based Public/Private Key Generator Wizard.

Port25 Solutions has released an enhanced version of it's Automated Authentication Checker. The service allows email senders to perform a simple check of various sender authentication mechanisms. In addition, senders can score emails in Spam Assassin. The tool performs an automated check of a sample email and provides results of

• DomainKeys check
• DKIM check
• Sender-ID check
• Spam Assassin check

Email senders can send a sample of a marketing email or newsletter to get the summary results. Senders can choose where the results should be sent:

If you wish to receive the results at the address in the RFC 2821 SMTP MAIL FROM command, the sample message should be sent to check-auth@verifier.port25.com.

If you wish to receive the results at the address in the RFC 2821 "From:" header, the sample message should be sent to check-auth2@verifier.port25.com.

In addition, Port25 added a web-based public/private key generator. This wizard will allow you to easily create a public and private key pair to be used for both DomainKeys and DKIM signing within PowerMTA and provide simple DNS configuration settings.
