Port25 Solutions Releases Enhanced Version of PowerMTA

New version includes a wide variety of new advanced features and functionalities that allow for greater flexibility and delivery control, to help maximize overall performance and deliverability.

Ellicott City , MD, March 31, 2008 -- Port25 Solutions, Inc. has released Version 3.5 of its flagship PowerMTA product.  The new version includes many of the requests made by PowerMTA users, including enhanced queue control, an IP address warm-up feature to help mailers introduce new IP addresses to ISPs, and more granular delivery rate support.

The full release, available for download immediately to current customers at no additional cost, includes the following features and enhancements:

  • new CSV-formatted accounting file with improved rotation control and more extensive delivery field capture (e.g. transient error information)
  • .NET submission API for Windows shops
  • enhanced queue pause/resume/delete control
  • more granular delivery rate support down to an X messages per second basis
  • ability to free up resources for high priority campaigns on demand via breaking connections of lower priority queues
  • ability to supplement default bounce categorization with custom rules
  • new IP address warm up feature to help build reputation on fresh IPs
  • remote feeding now possible using submission APIs
