Zustek Test Exceeds Performance Expectations Sending Goodmail CertifiedEmail Garden Grove, CA — May 18, 2006 — Zustek Corporation, one of the premier email marketing services providers, announced today that tests sending Goodmail Systems' CertifiedEmail were showing message throughputs well in excess of expected service levels. Goodmail's CertifiedEmail, the highest standard in email certification, is the company's accreditation and authentication system providing a trusted class of email for the benefit of legitimate volume senders, mailbox providers, and consumers. "We performed some tests sending CertifiedEmail on Port25's PowerMTA solution, quickly integrating it with our eBizmailer email management system," said Ajay Shah, president of Zustek Corporation. The process of creating CertifiedEmail involves software on the sending side which imprints each message with a cryptographically secure token, enabling robust authentication and deliverability tracking. "We were hoping to see no more than a 10% degradation in throughput, and were delighted to see throughput in excess of 95% of the non-CertifiedEmail messages. It turns out there's only a negligible slowdown, and senders get all the benefits of CertifiedEmail - message security, deliverability, and full message functionality." Targeted to volume emailers adhering to the best practices, CertifiedEmail restores trust between senders and consumers by providing a unique per-message authentication capability that guarantees senders message deliverability with links and images intact, since ISPs can trust CertifiedEmails from accredited senders. Consumers who receive CertifiedEmail obtain a level of security against phishing and other forms of email-based fraud since they can trust CertifiedEmail as authentic. "PowerMTA is designed to provide flexible industrial-grade sending capability, and the CertifiedEmail imprinter functionality that we added fits right into this design," said John Karpovich, cofounder of Port25 Solutions. "We were very satisfied to see how quickly Zustek was able to get PowerMTA to selectively imprint and send CertifiedEmails, and we are happy to hear that they are delighted with the imprinting and delivery throughput capabilities and results." Zustek Corporation is one of the first Goodmail Systems Partners, announced May 8th, and offers CertifiedEmail capability to its Global 2000 customers sending outbound volume email. Port25 Solutions is a Goodmail Imprinter Partner. The company's PowerMTA 3.2, its flagship message transfer agent (MTA), includes the capability to imprint messages with unique cryptographically secure tokens to ensure CertifiedEmail messages' authenticity. "Goodmail is very pleased to see how quickly these two partners were able to get CertifiedEmail going, and how fast the system works," said John Ouren, senior vice president of sales and business development for Goodmail. "Port25 and Zustek Corporation are market innovators, and what they are doing here is helping to restore trust to the email medium, making sure senders of legitimate volume emails see those messages delivered as created, while providing consumers a medium they can once again trust."
